Ajaran yang Sehat: Pembacaan Titus 2:1-10 dalam Terang Keteladanan Pemimpin Gereja Masa Kini

Abstract


The Church today faces serious challenges related to declining moral and spiritual leadership among spiritual leaders. This phenomenon creates a crisis of the church's trust in spiritual authority and blurs the image of the church as a community that lives on God's word. This situation shows that there is a gap between sound teaching and the living practices of church leaders in the context of contemporary ministry. The purpose of this study is to analyze in depth the meaning of the reading of Titus 2:1-10 in the light of the example of today's church leaders. The qualitative approach with the technique of examining written documents was chosen because it is able to explore the meaning of the text in depth and contextually. The findings of the study show that Titus 2:1-10 confirms the inseparable link between sound teaching and living example. Through this passage,  the meaning of example in Paul's perspective is explained, to gain  a holistic understanding of sound doctrine, encourage every Christian leader to become an educator of faith by example, reorganize the system of spiritual formation, and reveal the importance of example across generations. In the context of today's church, this text challenges spiritual leaders to present the living gospel through character, faithfulness, and moral integrity. In conclusion, example is not only a complement to leadership, but the core of the service itself.
