Abstract

Abstract: This research was conducted to determine the meaning of the phrase Pray Without Tire Based on the Exegesis of Luke 18:1-14. A phrase often variously understood by interpreters, this results in confusion for the Christian community. The Gospel of Luke is accepted as Luke's writing, believed to have been written between 60-63 C.E., with the intention that readers (Gentiles) understand everything Jesus did and taught, up to the day He was raptured. This research was carried out with a qualitative method of exegetical interpretation approach, verse by verse. The author finds the meaning of the phrase Praying Without Tire shows that: Jesus' followers should have come to pray by coercing or disturbing God so that He would grant His followers' requests?, certainly not. God does want His followers to pray / ask Him, but not by the art of forcing God but to do God's will in the lives of His followers.
