Pengaruh Ibadah dan Pendalaman Alkitab terhadap Pertumbuhan Kerohanian Kaum Wanita di Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumatera Utara

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the level of influence of worship and Bible study on the spiritual growth of women in the Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumut. One of the efforts to have good spiritual growth is to attend worship regularly and take Bible studies seriously. The problem is, not all churches are able to meet these needs contextually and according to the needs of the congregation. The method used in this research is quantitative, the type of research carried out is a survey, the data collection technique is using a questionnaire. Place of research conducted at YPDPA SUMUT, Jl. Sei Mencirim No. 129 Medan. The population is as many as 80 women members of the Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumut, with an age level between 35-80 years. The results showed that: 1) the spiritual growth rate of women in the Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumut is in the moderate category; 2) the worship variable has a significant level of influence on the spiritual growth of women in the Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumut; 3) the Bible study variable has a significant level of influence on the spiritual growth of women in the Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumut; 4) worship and Bible study simultaneously affect spiritual growth. 89% of the variation in the dependent variable "spiritual growth" can be explained by the independent variables "worship" and "Bible study," the remaining 11% can be explained by factors outside the variables.

Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengaruh ibadah dan pendalaman Alkitab terhadap pertumbuhan kerohanian kaum wanita di Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumut. Salah satu upaya untuk memiliki pertumbuhan kerohanian yang baik adalah dengan mengikuti ibadah secara teratur dan mengikuti pendalaman Alkitab dengan serius. Masalahnya, tidak semua gereja mampu memenuhi kebutuhan tersebut secara kontekstual dan sesuai kebutuhan jemaat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah survey, teknik pengumpulan data adalah menggunakan angket. Tempat Penelitian dilakukan di YPDPA SUMUT, Jl. Sei Mencirim No. 129 Medan. Populasi adalah kaum wanita anggota Persekutuan Ibu Maria di YPDPA Sumut, sebanyak 80 orang dengan tingkat usia antara 35-80 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) tingkat pertumbuhan kerohanian kaum wanita di Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumut adalah dalam kategori sedang; 2) variabel ibadah memiliki tingkat pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan kerohanian kaum wanita di Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumut; 3) variabel pendalaman Alkitab memiliki tingkat pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan kerohanian kaum wanita di Persekutuan Ibu Maria YPDPA Sumut; 4) ibadah dan pendalaman Alkitab secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan kerohanian. 89% variasi variabel terikat “pertumbuhan kerohanian” dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel bebas “ibadah” dan “pendalaman Alkitab,” sisanya 11% dapat dijelaskan oleh faktor-faktor di luar variabel.
